Visualizing technical disaster by shockwaves spiraling into each other seemed appropriate for the invitation to this show at the Surrey Art Gallery. Artist Donna Szokes says it best in her essay: “What is most jarring is humanity’s ability to be obliviously naive and fatally unaware of the seeds of disaster that culture midwives into fruition.”
