B.R. Cohen & Associates - primarily former senior U.S. Foreign Service Officers - consult with businesses that are expanding internationally, but don’t have on-the-ground experience or networks in their new marketplace. With associates who have experience in all parts of the world, so can speak the language fluently and understand the business culture, B.R. Cohen & Associates wanted to sell themselves as a one-stop-shop for global logistical solutions.

Working closely with Elissa Vann Struth of Vann Struth Creative, the idea for the direct mail postcard campaign was to take a playful approach (as opposed to the website which posed real-world scenarios) offering the advice BR Cohen would have given historical figures like Marco Polo (invest in spice futures) or Hannibal (elephants hate cold feet) had they only asked.
